Individual Therapy
Individual therapy services are provided to children, adolescents, and young adults, typically on a weekly basis, in 45 minute sessions. Dr. Nichols-Jones utilizes an integrative therapeutic approach, which involves developing a tailored treatment plan that may incorporate cognitive-behavioral, relational, systemic, and psychodynamic interventions. When working with children, play-based interventions may be integrated into the therapy. Dr. Nichols-Jones typically also meets with a child’s caregivers regularly, to provide consultation and feedback as well as to receive information about how the child is progressing outside of the therapy room.
